Edge computing provides computing capability at the edge location.
Edge computing improves application performance and reduces latency.
Edge computing can be used for A/B testing, user device detection response and request header access control.

1. Clients access the application

2. Request traffic reaches the CloudFront at the edge location nearest to the clients

3. Lambda functions are triggered by the CloudFront events at the edge location
